Marianna Oykhman is a corporate associate of femida.us (a/k/a Int’l Legal Counsels PC) focusing on representation of US and international clients’ corporate and intellectual property matters in software, information technology and telecommunication industries. She assists clients in cross-border technology transfer and licensing, corporate structuring and formation, and M&A transactions.

Ms.Oykhman also takes part in the commercial litigation relating to such matters. Ms. Oykhman filed for numerous trademark and copyright registrations, assisted clients in managing their licensing and privacy policy, and negotiated complex shareholder and licensing agreements.

Prior to joining femida.us, Ms. Oykhman co-founded Hatch International, a sustainable development technology nonprofit organization, where she was the Legal Director and served on the Board of Directors. She also worked as a law clerk for several prestigious companies and government institutions, including GEICO’s Office of Legislative Counsel, Zurich Insurance Company’s Corporate Litigation Division, IRS’s Exempt Organizations, and the Department of the Interior’s Bureau of Reclamation.

Ms. Oykhman received her Juris Doctor in 2013 from American University, Washington College of Law in Washington DC, with an emphasis on business and tax law. While at WCL, Ms. Oykhman served as a student attorney for the Spragens Federal Tax Clinic. She graduated cum laude from the University of Michigan with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a minor in International Studies. She is admitted to the Virginia State Bar. Ms. Oykhman is proficient in Russian.
