Leo V. Goldstein-Gureff is an attorney with unique combination of broad legal background in intellectual property, corporate and transactional fields with an emphasis on the high-tech, software, telecommunication and biotechnology industries, where he, in addition to devising privacy policies, terms of use and services practice and procedures, negotiates and drafts intellectual property licenses and transfers, sales agreements and settlement agreements. Mr. Goldstein-Gureff extensively participates in representation of producers of anti-terrorist, security and medical equipment and numerous software, IT and internet firms in connection with their technology-related, OEM, licensing and distribution agreements and corporate operations in the United States and Europe. His responsibilities also include development of litigation strategies, intellectual property portfolio management, privacy policies and various licensing and technology transfer matters. Mr. Goldstein-Gureff also has experience in litigation, domain name dispute resolution proceedings (UDRP), and conducting proceedings before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). His experience at the USPTO includes drafting and prosecuting patent and trademark applications, trademark oppositions, and appeals. Mr. Goldstein-Gureff received his Juris Doctor and Master in Intellectual Property from Franklin Pierce Law Center in 2002, and his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Chemistry from Southern Connecticut State University in 1998. He is admitted to the New York State Bar and United States Patent and Trademark Office.
